Vista del Sur is dedicated to providing a safe and respectful school environment. The Vista staff believes that all students can exhibit appropriate school behaviors. Parents, students, and staff members must work together to model and teach appropriate R.O.A.R. behavior. Students should expect consequences as a part of learning what is right and wrong. Vista del Sur uses the multi-tiered Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) framework to improve social, emotional and academic outcomes for all students.

In 2017, Vista del Sur received a Silver Award from Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports of Arizona for their efforts.
